While looking for other lights, saw this light and smiled. We bought 4 of them 5 several years while building our cabin. They are on either side of our cabin’s fireplace, and on both sides of the doorway into the great room. We have very tall ceilings (11-14 feet) and their length and classy look are perfect in the setting. We too have them on a dimmer with an incandescent light. The oiled bronze was more black than brown. I think we paid about $70 each at the time. Although pricey now, in the right place they’re worth it.

We’ve ordered three of these sconces as we continue to remodel our home. They are a handsome design that works well in different settings, and are well made for the price.

I used two of these sconces to set off either side of a large piece of artwork on an end wall of the room. These were perfect and really look good. I used 75 watt halogen bulbs that are dimmable and provide non-glare lighting that is bright and fill the wall area with light.
The style is very contemporary and goes well with my wall art, burgundy couch and chair. Very satisfied.
